We all have those mornings when it seems like everyone is dragging around until the last 10 minutes, and then the entire family is running around like chickens with their heads cut off.

The most important part of having a 4-minute ritual is that you make it your own. This is just one example of how you could spend your first 4 minutes.
Make the bed.
There’s something calming about making something look beautiful as soon as you wake up. It feels like you have already accomplished so much, and your eyes have only been open for 60 seconds.
Open the curtains.
Letting some sunshine in is just a poetic way to start your day, plus the sunshine will assist with the “waking up” process.
Take some deep breaths.
In the grand scheme of things, one minute really isn’t a long time. (There are 1440 minutes in a day.) Taking some deep breaths in and out will help jumpstart your brain, and get you ready to face the day.
Drink a glass of water.
Your body just endured an 8 hour fast. It’s dehydrated, and a tall glass of water is just what the doctor ordered.
